Im Just a Human

I’m just a human

I am weak, and I am strong.

Please do not hurt me

I know I am wrong.

The wind howls loudly

Screaming at all hours of the night.

I am kept awake

Awake by fright.

I am just a human

I bleed, and I cry.

Do not look at me shamefully

I become weaker as time passes by.

You see I cannot escape this life

It is like a record stuck on repeat.

Turning and skipping, going around and round

Playing the same song, beat by beat
