I'm Just Me

I can only be what I was made to be-- me.

I see people all around me,

talking, bashing, criticizing.

When I hold my instrumental pen,

that illuminates the depth of my soul,

I feel free-- as if being appreciated whole.

I will never understand the ease and contentness I feel from writing,

but I will appreciate the freeing of my soul that it allows, ing.
