i'm the man
i don't have to live large
live in a big house
to know that i'm in charge
i know where i stand
i have a plan
so i say-i'm the man
i love women
i don't need to say i'm rough
nor say i'm tough
my volume that defines me said it all
that's why i stand tall
i like to look nice and showcase
regardless
i know where i stand, with the sense of urgency, purpose, and plan
i say to myself-i'm the man
i won't give up my control
or put dignity on hold
i was always been told
you hold your own
i will take a stand
and get what i demand
so i say-i'm the man
i see beyond the gender of me
i'm not trying to get on anybody's case
i know my rightful place
i made a decision
to empower and elevate my position
i have the power, it's in my hand
this is my hour
i'm in control
it's not about me
its about we
we have the power
its our hour
to take control of our mind, body , and soul
together we stand with our purpose and plan
when it's all set and done, you take one look at me and say-you the man
