I'M IN MY 40'S
I'm In My 40's
life's meant to start at fourth's I think,
It had taken me to long to get hear ,
But now that I am hear what do
I do next when 50's come my way?
So I look and think to my self wow
My 30's past me by so fast I thought
I was still in my 20's
Forty's just one day away of a love
Of Jehovah he gave me ,
One more day to give my love to
All my kid's and grand kids,
Boy I still have a lot of work to do ,
Wrinkles all around my eye's
hair graying, recently dyed,
brought up in the swinging 60's
the truth may be denied.
But my life was another page for
Another to take hold and make
Better day's for another page in
Their eye's ,
Why does forty sound so old ?
Why does everyone pretend
that they are only twenty .
Get up and have some fun your
Still Young .
