I'm no Bomb

Piece by piece My body is torn Week by week My soul mourns "You're always happy" they all say. "Never down " But the struggle they say is real I go through Day after day Pulling and tugging Holding and sliding Eventually it's gonna burn once fate has decided I'm a rope, with very few strings left Ripping and popping with every single breath But no, I'm no bomb I don't blow So I put on this hard shell so no one will have to know In public I'm a talkative person In private I'm shy I can barely ask my self a serious question Without looking my reflection in the eye It's hard to come clean to oneself than it is to others So instead I take my anger on my mother, father, and brother But, I'm still no bomb I hold in my explosives Then I take it out on my mom She loves me, yes I know But it's so hard to fight urges that you hold everyday Then come home and its no longer okay
