I'm no longer a
I'm no longer a child...
He looked up at me as he teared up
I did not know what to do
How could I be of any use?
It wasn't too long ago I endured that abuse
I really am no longer a child.
He drags an anchor of pain
that little kid who is not even ten,
looks at me as if I could save him.
I am longer entitled to a savior,
rather I've become a clueless grown kid.
I really am no longer a child...
I am now the protector of whoever it is to come.
