I'm Not Going To Filter

Being filtered means I’m not saying all that I truly feel

Filters, limit my capabilities

I don’t like to feel as if I’m limited

Without a filter, I am truly me

I don’t hide my flaws

I am strong and independent

I feel more beautiful as my natural self than I do with makeup and filters

There shouldn’t be anything that does not demonstrate my true colors and identity

Without my filters, I look like myself

Everyone else is in the Instagram filters: black and white, vintage, vignette, skyline, ashby and many more

Why wouldn’t I want to be myself?

God made me this way and he made me wonderfully

I don’t use filters because I like to stay true to myself

 I like to live in reality

I need to know what’s going on with myself

I’m not going to filter because I don’t want to fit in
