I'm Not In Love
I'm not in love
Because if I say I'm in love
I'll start to sweat when he walks by.
I'll start to lose my train of thought every time he looks at me.
I'll start to daydream in class,
more than usual.
I'll start to write letters I'll never give him,
and they'll go on and on,
about how perfect his smile is,
and how he has the most perfect eyes,
and how his hair is so perfect.
But no.
No.
I'm not in love.
Because if I say I'm in love,
I'll be up all night long,
questioning my ceiling about if he loves me back.
I'll spend way too long picking out what to wear,
just in case I see him that day.
And I'll be the girl who never shuts up about him.
So it's been decided.
I'm not in love.
Because if I was...
I'd be having a really hard time with the fact that he just kissed my best friend.
