im not a poet

I am no poet, yet I know how I feel. Alone I've stood strong, but this week's been so long it seems almost unreal. I am no poet, yet I feel my heart race. How can twenty four hours feel like so many days? Seven eternities gone by, each spent longing for your embrace. I am no poet, yet my heart needs your kiss. Can't say it enough, the words never too tough, it is you that I miss. I am no poet, yet your kiss fills my soul. Without you it's nothing; with friendship there's something; with love it's made whole. I am no poet, yet my soul says untrue. I am no poet, but I'll be one for you
