I'm Not Sorry

Tue, 02/03/2015 - 11:29 -- MaryLou

I'm not sorry

That I seem vain

I'm not sorry

That society views me as a strain

I am sorry

That I lived my life oblivious

I am sorry

That I have a hard time being serious

I'm not sorry

That I'm too curious

I'm not sorry

That I'm always furious

I am sorry

That you won't change

I am sorry

That things are so deranged

I'm not sorry

That I'm not who you want me to be

I'm not sorry

That I keep trying to make you see

I am sorry

That I'll learn too late

I am sorry

That being close minded is your fate

I'm not sorry

That I love myself more than you want me to

I'm not sorry

That someday I will bid society adieu

I am sorry

That others have it rough

I am sorry

That my efforts aren't enough

I'm not sorry

That you will try to bring everything down

I'm not sorry

That we will fight you in a femme gown

I am sorry

That it took me so long

I am sorry

That I struggled to learn the words to my own song

I'm not sorry

That now I know I'm a goddess

I'm not sorry

That I'm absolutely flawless
