Can you look me in the eyes

When you apologize

And if you realize

That you broke my heart

Why can't we grow apart?

Do you want to trade parts

See the world as I do

Hopefully show you

That these constant reminders of you

Won't go away despite what I do

I'm sleep deprived,

My heart is paralyzed

I'm sick of being criticized

and I'm done being denied
