I'm Not A Typical Girl

I am smart

I have a passion for art

I have a personality that brightens

And an imagination that has light and darkness to no end

I love animals so

But hate insects though

They are what I want to save

From the ones who deprave

Nature makes me feel alive

It helps me find my creative strive

Its beauty has no boundaries

As well as the sounds and never ending trees

I love sing my songs bright

Whether it be day or night

When my vocals are strong

I get through a day gone wrong

My art is a part of who I am

If someone doesn’t like I don’t give a damn

I don’t use just black and white

I use many colors that are out of sight

I’m a tomboy and pretty tough

And being who I am I have some cool stuff

I consider myself strange

But that’s one thing about me I would not change

I prefer the dark of night rather than the light of day

I guess I’m just mysterious that way

I thrive on watching anything that can scare

But having fears I do share

Spiders, clowns, and needles are the things I fear

I will run if one comes near

I may be weird and a little dark

But I love being me and setting myself apart
