I'm Not You...

I'm not you,

For you chose the path of being everybodies stooge,

Everybody knew what you did but me,

And yet you still had the audacity to deny it when I can see,

I can see you for your true colors,

A man who was an undercover runner,

A man that gets pleasure out pain of others,

A man who is no man at all in my eyes,

For a man would never fight a woman,

And yet I was played the fool,

I was just a tool for you,

To throw away and be used,

A woman you threw away and abused,

The scars of what has been done can never be undone,

But these scars will heal and I know I have won,

Cause you will never know what you lost,

Until I am gone,

And now that I have won by healing my scars,

This is where we part,

From now on you are a ghost of the past,

And I will forever be thankful that you came last,

For I am a survivor of the deeds that have made me stronger,

And made me more of a lover,

Which compared to you I realize I am not you.
