I'm the only one

How do I keep these tears from falling, discouraging words constantly filling up my still molding brain. I asked the Lord to please make me a bird so I can fly far far away from whats causing me pain. I move at my own pace, why can't they see that, Cause im not in the same mind set as them they choose to get mad. Why must I deserve to be given much hurt, Why must my dreams be pushed in the dirt. Because I don't strive for success in the same manner as you do, tell me how does that give you the right to treat like some fool. i ain't stupid, I know whats going on, but just cause we can both read the lyrics, don't mean we both can sing the song. I understand the steps I shoould take to reach my destiny, but who says your plan is whats best for me. I tried to not to get mad, cry, and go insane, but else can I do when I'm dealing with people who barely think of my name. i believe in myself, I don't need any help, I know I can do this, cause at the end of the day I'm the only one actually going through this.

Bless you. I cried for you because its something im still dealing with and it started the day I was born. Im 51 and just starting to understand I was meant for grace by God. I never felt worthy. Your poem is beautiful. Thank you.
