I'm Second In Charge

I'm second in charge

My mom and dad have been divorced since I was a baby, so I'm second in charge

Dad hasn't been around much, so I have to be second in charge

My older brother has Autism so mom pays him special attention, I'm second in charge

My 83 year old grandpa's Parkinson's disease worries mom when he's driving, I'm second in charge

My grandma can hardly walk due to poor health and arthritis so mom has to help her get around, I'm second in charge

My auntie suffers from Down's syndrome, mom helps take care of her, I'm second in charge

My house is full of 10 dogs that mom spoils, I'm second in charge

But when mom isn't around I have to step up, and for a short period of time I'm not second,

I'm first.

No time for me time, I have to sacrifice for my family

I just want to live and stay true to me while I am doing it

A happy me is the best thing I can be

I am Goldyn.
