I'm So Tired

(poems go here)

I'm so tired of life

Everything I try

Everything I fight for

All ends up lying on the cold hard floor

I'm so tired of disappointment

Of being disappointed

Of being a disappointment

It only ever leads to resentment

I'm so tired of fighting

Each day to prove

Each day to provide

All of it thrown into the riptide

I'm so tired of striving

To beat out all the rest

To beat out thoughts inside my head

"Your not good enough" is said

Your not good enough for him

For this school

For this job

Why try? You’re a slob

Your not good enough for this family

For these people

For this life

The voices echo "You’re the reason for their strife"

I'm so tired
