I'm sorry.

I’m sorry, but please

Leave me alone

I’m not your therapist or your shrink

I'm not getting paid to listen to all of your trivial problems

I know I’m your friend

I know I’m supposed to care

But I have reached my limit

I can’t take it anymore

I keep trying to pretend that I'm actually concerned

I spew out random crap and you label it advice

I don’t know what I’m talking about

I can’t always save the day

I try, I really do

I want to be there

I want to make sure you are okay

But now I’m not

And I’ve realized that although I’m there for everyone

Nobody is there for me

So I am done lending a hand

My shoulder is not for crying

My ears are not there to listen

I am worrying about myself for once

I turned off my phone

I stayed home from school

Stop trying to talk to me

Just leave me alone

Tomorrow I’ll be there, just like before

Maybe I’ll listen, maybe I’ll help

But I’m sorry, I just can’t today

Today I am my own

I care about nobody else

I can’t help you

I can’t even help myself

So find someone else

Or just cry to yourself

I’m done being the person everyone cries to for help
