I'm Sorry
Mom, Dad.
Did you even notice?
I started lashing out,
dropping out of activities,
grades began dropping.
Mom, Dad.
Couldn’t you see?
I was falling apart.
Losing motivation,
losing hope.
Mom, Dad.
You’re losing me.
The light of your life
has grown so dark,
quickly fading.
Mom, Dad.
I’m sorry.
I know you’re
disappointed.
So am I.
