i'm sorry
dear you,
im sorry about everything.
im sorry that i am not perfect.
im sorry that i dont put ❤ over my i's and that i snort when i laugh.
im sorry that i slouch when i sit and my legs don’t automatically cross daintily.
im sorry my curves doesnt appeal to you and that the dress i bought to impress you got overlooked by your unknowing eye
im sorry that when you look at me i look away in fear and i stutter when im nervous
im sorry my feelings for you have grown the way they have
however.
im sorry that you don’t see my beauty inside and out.
im sorry that my amazing jokes go over your head
im sorry that when you catch my being in your eye that you don’t say “damn”
im sorry that you miss out on me- my personality and friendship come included
im sorry you lack the sensation of my skin and the dips of my hips
this letter if for you. the one who took mu confidence away and the one who helped me gain it back. this is for you. the one who detracts my prowess because fear of intimidation. Sorry.
