I'm sorry

People always ask me

Why I say “I’m sorry” so much

Maybe the reason is it’s easier to say I’m sorry for the small, dumb mistakes

Instead of the things that still keep me awake at night

Maybe it’s because it’s easier to say I’m sorry to you

Rather than the people that need to hear it most

Maybe it’s because it’s easier to apologize to people that aren’t worthy of receiving one

Instead of the ones that deserve it
