I'm sorry
I'm sorry
I'm sorry that I can't take it back
I'm sorry I wasted both our lives
I'm sorry we didn't get the ending
We both were praying for
I'm sorry I couldn't save you from the future
I'm sorry I never saw your scars
Your bruises
Under your toothy little smile
That hid them all too well
I'm sorry none of us tried to help
But we were too young to understand how
I'm sorry I'm forgetting you
But it's hard to face your past
When it's staring right at you
Or perhaps doesn't know at all
For I'm sorry,
I don't know if you're alive or dead
I'm sorry if they hurt you
And I wasn't there in the end
I failed you
I'm sorry
I'm sorry
I'm so....sorry
I never knew your number
And I forgot to ask
The day you left my life
But I wish you called me your sister these days
