I'm Sorry

Location

It was your wish come true

A gift from me to you

The poisoned arrow flies

Falling down it petrifies

One minute can't delay

What mine lips must shall say

It never was my wish

Alas, son, I have missed

And I have meant to take the chance

But I blew it

And I forgot to take the time

And I'm sorry

All of the stakes collide

My lips were cold as ice

As I leaned close to you

My body traveled through

Tonight the end is near

I must shall face my fear

The spinning on it goes

The broken records flow

And I have meant to take the chance

But I blew it

And I forgot to take the time

And I'm sorry

As I fly past the record trees, the shattered pasts, and broken dreams

The music plays so tenderly, ignoring me, the way it ought to

Hide me from you

And I have meant to take the chance

But I blew it

And I forgot to take the time

And I'm sorry

Leaving you; the hardest thing

And I'm sorry
