I'm Sorry

I'm sorry i stressed you out. I'm sorry my father forced you to do it all by yourself. I'm sorry you saw him whenever you looked at me, and I'm sorry the thought of that alone drove you to insanity. I'm sorry you enjoyed the "practicing" more than the responsibilities. I'm sorry alcohol was a better entertainer than a seven year old and a one year old baby. I'm sorry you felt that malnutrition was a way of showing you cared for us, and I'm sorry you thought that leaving and not returning for days, is what every good parent does. In addition to that, I'm sorry you felt that that i was your personal punching bag, and maybe I'm even sorry that even when i was sleeping i triggered something inside you that made you mad. I'm sorry the two that came from you annoyed you to the point you felt you had to get out. you left us to fend for ourselves day in and day out. I'm sorry your whole methods of raising was inadequite, and I'm sorry consequences caught up with you and blessed us with a better environment. I'm sorry you really didn't know how to nurture a child or know what a decent mother should do. I'm sorry mother, but the only REAL sorry, is the sorry I am for YOU!
