I'm Sorry
I’m sorry for all the things
That no one ever sees
Whether you tell them
Or they don’t listen
And ignore your desperate plea
I’m sorry that you don’t
Like the world you live in
Or that your life seems bleak
and sad and wrong
And your heart just wants to give in
I’m sorry that you feel
Like nobody knows you’re there
Like a figure in the shadows
A spirit, a ghost
Drifting through the air
I wanted to say that I’m sorry
I notice you
and your daily strife
Please don’t threaten the things you do
Please don’t take your life.
You won’t see the people who are sorry
That they were too busy to see
When you told them
They didn’t listen
And ignored your desperate plea
