I'm Sorry
The words that I speak most often
And type every day
I realize are "I'm sorry"
I wondered why
Until I look at who I am
And how I feel
All my actions are grounds for apology
No matter how insignificant
I apologize for being sad
For being an inconvenience
For not understanding a joke
Or being stupid
But most of all
I think I apologize
For nothing more
Than simply existing
