I'm sorry

Once, I fell in love with a sad boy

At first he was sorta okay,

But after treating him like a toy

He didn't have much to say.

He said he wished to die.

And that he hated himself.

His smiles and laughs were a lie

He bottled up his feelings and put them on a shelf.

Now he questioned his worth and what he deserved.

I didn't realize what I had done

He was angry and unnerved.

The pain I had caused could not be undone.

But this boy, I loved dearly.

And he loved me too.

After all of that, I could finally see clearly,

That our love was true.

I try my best to make him smile

And get him to let go of his sadness,

To be happy for awhile

And to be sad a lot less.

THis boy couldn't see what he meant to me.

In his mind, he was waiting for me to leave.

I wish I could make this boy see

I wish I could make him believe.

This boy has the cutest voice

And his eyes are a caramel brown

And if it were my choice

I'd never let him frown.

His happiness is all that I want,

And of course to be his wife.

This boy I'm gonna flaunt,

because he is my life.
