I'm sorry for many things.

I'm sorry to hear your hurt. your pain.

I'm sorry I left you behind.

You were always so close to me. 

You were like a sister to me.

I'm sorry I didn't stick around.

Only the man above knows how much I was able to handle.

What I went through I was hoping you didn't.

It backfired, and all I can say is I'm sorry.

I'm sorry for the life we grew up in and I left you in it.

I'm sorry for the people we had in our lives that we were to call family, only to find out they only cared for themselves.

I'm sorry it always felt like a competition.

I'm sorry our lives were filled with jealousy. 

I'm sorry the ones we were to depend on didn't even have our backs.

Please forgive me for leaving you behind.

Please forgive me for not taking you with me.

Please forgive me for not being there for you when you were crying out and needed me the most.
