But I'm still here

I'm still here but why

I cry myself to sleep wishing to be fine

I can't think straight

But I'm still here

How

My demons make me hurt

Even when I smile

It hurts to be me

But I'm still here

Why

I fight myself everyday

A battle that gets bigger day by day

Looking in the mirror is not the same

I hate myself

In every way

But i'm still here

How

How do I get up everyday

And be able to breathe

Without hesitation

I'm still here

I have a best friend

Her name is Marlene

She cares about me

And that's all I need

I'm still here

I keep doing things

That make me nervous and scared

Getting out of my comfort zone

Is harder than sleeping at night

But

I'm still here

I can cry myself to sleep

Panic for no reason

But I'm still here

And here to stay
