I'm to stupid to stop fighting

I’m too stupid to stop fighting World closing around me Light falling Darkness coming to embrace me It’s like a disease in my blood stream A head game that tells me I am nothing I am nothing I am nothing I’m too stupid to stop fighting I struggle in pain It’s a poison My heart pumps through my arterial veins And I cry out to the light That won’t come till dawn And all I can do is write And all I can do is write And all I can do is write I’m too stupid to stop fighting This battle I think I’m winning The darkness knows I’m losing The paper is flooded with ink And blood drops And blood drops And blood drops I’m too stupid to stop fighting Rolling with the punches I’m surviving I read these words in my head And they give me strength And they give me strength And they give me strength I’m not stupid for fighting Darkness is receding I see dawn rising And the birds start singing I’m just lucky to be living A darkened nightmare is regrouping Gaining strength in the corner of my mind But I’m too stupid to stop fighting For another night another morning And all I can do is write And all I can do is write And all I can do is write
