I'm Surprised

Not to long ago,

you picked me up and dusted me off.

Now you let me walk out of your life

with a little word "Goodbye."

I'm surprised.

You were always there,

to help when I needed you.

But you let me walk out of your life

with a little word "Goodbye."

I'm surprised.

I'm not gonna cry, because I know I'll be okay.

But I will never understand

why you let me walk out of your life

with a little word "Goodbye."

I'm surprised.
