I'm Thankful

You see everyday people get killed,

injured

destroyed.

Emotionally, mentally, and physically.

We ourselves do more damage to our kind without a trace.

We hate and spite on our neighbors. Why?

Why do we act better than one another,

When we all make mistakes, we all have our flaws.

I am not perfect, you are not perfect,

Yet we still are.

Everyone has their differences, I am not like you,

And you are not like me.

I have my opinions, and you have yours, but

We both still have a heart, a soul, and a mind.

I am thankful, to have such an open mind in such a very...

Closed off world.

We should all be thankful, for our differences make us stronger.

But our opinions tear us apart.

I am thankful because I can love in spite of the

HATE revolving around our world.

We should all be loving and show not a thing less than kindness

Because we are all people, I am not less of a person than you.

I am thankful for being my own person, in a world filled with people

Being less than they are.

We are one, be thankful and love.
