I'm A Tornado

She’s a lover of disaster

A girl who’s naturally a fighter

Lost in the world’s atmosphere

Watching as the storm appears

Rain running through her veins

Many people call her insane

At ease with the wind

Feeling free with moment

Her thoughts are brewing

The storm is beginning

Her shouts are alarming

Lightning is vastly striking

Her blood warms with anger

Thunder breaks the silence

Her tears become memories of violence

The hail disrupts the pain

She’s on her knees searching for a saint

The clouds are becoming viscous

Her breath is coming out shortless

This storm a brewing is dangerous

...but so is she…

The quiet has come

Her mind is blank

The twister begins to descend

She’s only wanting this to end

It’s strength is overpowering

Her heart feels a comforting

The disaster is awfully memorizing

Her pain is finally subsiding

It’s destroying everything in it’s path

Her body feels painless at last

This beast is slowly dissipating

She starts realizing

A twister is her love

How she feels inside when she feels like dying

Becoming dangerous and scary

Hated by most, but loved by many

Naturally beautiful, naturally depressing

She’s a lover of disaster

And to her… that is very satisfying.

Storm_Freak

I found that poetry is the one and only way to fully get out what's stuck in my mind/ heart. A dear friend of mine encouraged me to write poetry and ever since then, I've written these poems. In less then a year, my poems have become well liked amongst friends and family. The first 15 I posted are the first 15 I did in a year's time. I write for me, and for other people who want to read them. If you don't like what I write, then don't be hateful. Only be critical.
