I'm Waiting For You

I've been waiting,

As long as I've been breathing.

I've been here since I don't know when,

And I'm wondering if I'll ever see you again.

I'm waiting for you to come home,

I'm waiting for you to walk through that door.

I've been waiting for you to see the light,

I've been waiting for you to come inside.

I don't know how long,

I can stay strong.

I've been trying to stay above the surface,

and not go under the water.

Don't go away,

I want you to stay.
