I'm Yours

And I don't think that I'll ever take this wristband off with my wrist.

I don't think after last night I can ever remove it.

I think that it's a nice reminder of what we had tonight.

What we had last night.

The number 27 will always be more special to me than it has ever been before.

The song Livin on a Prayer is going to make me have chills every time it comes on the radio now.

Because you didn't decide that we need to slow dance during a slow song

and you didn't decide we needed to slow dance during any other song

But because I took your hand and I stood up with you

and we went on to that dance floor and we slow danced to Livin on a Prayer

the song has new special undertone to me.

And even though I'll grow old

And even though I'll probably leave you

Or at least you'll probably leave me

I'm never going to forget the number 27

Or the feeling of your arm around my shoulders

Or even the feeling my heart got when you called me yours

When you told me you wanted to show me off

When you introduced me as your girlfriend to everybody

There's nothing more special

Then everyone knowing

I'm Yours

I'm sad, I'm loud, and I write a lot of fanfiction. Ashe is a pseudonym of mine and I hope that wherever you are, you are doing okay.
