THE IMAGE

Giving the photograph a deep intensive stare The beauty of twilight was decending on the deep blue sea The image I held made me teary and emotional Seeking what can't be Tears fell down to my cheek The cold feeling of lost and angry overwhelmed me The long deep gaze at the image suddenly turned to rage The pains of loss and demise of happiness Left alone in this space Sulking at my misfortune I tore the photo as my heart bled profusely A sad memory made my heart it's home
