Imagination
Lying awake with her mind off in wonderland
Clueless of when this alternate life began
Following a world that she envisions
Being in charge of every decision
With her eyes shut and her mind at peace
She puts her fantasy world together piece by piece
Grateful for this world in which she can runaway
From all the things in reality that go astray
Realizing the power of her mind
Her daily troubles can be refined
Imagination becoming a source of happiness
To escape life’s unexpected madness
Entering a realm of complete control
Having a say in life as a whole
Recreating her body and soul
A life that can come and go with one’s desire
To temporarily abdicate from a world of fire
The power of imagination should not be overlooked
When it can rewrite your life as a book
