Imagination

To be stranded, with nothing at all. What would I need?

That is pretty easy in my book. My imagination.

Because to have the image of a nation where the only population was me myself and I, I could cry and weep, rock myself to sleep.

Think of yesterdays moments drifting off into the sea.

It is my imagination that is always with me. In moments of discomfort, I dream of what could be. Imagination can turn coal into gold, old into soul. Shift mountains and heal pain, solve problems and quiet the brain.

So if stuck on an island with me and myself, the only wealth I would see is my imagination
