Imagination

Endlessly hoping for something, anything...

But recieving nothing.

That's what my life feels like.

Chasing dreams and coming up dry.

But it plays the way I want it to,

in my imagination.

In my imagination,

conditions are perfect.

Everything works,

in my imagination.

I am free

like a kite.

I am free

like a bird.

All in my imagination.

In my imagination,

there are no rules.

No consequences.

Eyes closed.

Deep breaths.

In my imagination,

I take what I want

and I want what I take.

In my imagination,

I get what I crave.

No pricetags.

No limits.

Nothing to hold me back.

Everything works,

in my imagination.

I am free

like a kite.

I am free

like a bird.

Free.

All in my imagination.
