Imagination

Steps are easy to take when the world has been uplifted off your shoulders. Here in this place you are free of your own embodiment… of your own prison. I walk down the stiff path, the wet stiff moss brushing against my bare feet. The misty cool air moving my thick hair only slightly to the side. This place… this is my home. The bayou is unbearably beautiful. The way the hollow trees shadow the water and the fireflies swarm me with a homey feeling.
