Imagine That

Within the four walls of my home, I imagine a day where the sky is no longer the limit, but the Universe is, Like Martin Luther King, I too have a dream of better days where humanity is more than just the color of our skin, and its definition to You, Or any other person with a stereotype. Like the caged bird, He sings of freedom. not just physically, but mentally, because like people, you can take the bird from the cage, but often times the caged mentality still remains. I imagine a day where friendship is MORE than simply a word, A word that weighs upon ones soul like change in ones pocket. Now, do not misunderstand, this is not "currency" change I mean the type of 'change' that has real worth. I'm talking about: Loyalty, Morality, Honesty, and last of all Respect, These are the true Titanium, Platinum, Silver and Gold of a friendship Anything else......counterfeit I imagine a day where misery HATES company, a day where children in my generation are not persecuted for the POSITIVE choices they choose to make in reference to their bodies, Lastly, I imagine a day where we as a society praise one another for the blessings that come our way instead of being envious. A day where we encourage one another to do better so that we as a whole can come together and achieve bigger goals than any of us could ever imagine. Imagine That.
