Imagine...
The glass is thick
but the harmony of the crickets overpower its strength.
"Venture outside" she wispers, as the crickets continue to sway.
Genuinelly giggling,
I didn't realize this sort of happiness existed outside the covers of my dusty childhood fairytails.
My hands laced 'round my knees
as my feet brushed the rough pavement outside.
The air was still,
not a "wooosh" or "sigh" to be heard.
Leaning like a feather,
back and forth,
back and forth,
my breath was the only sound to be recorded.
Somehow above,
the crystal ball peaks out to shine the light on the corners of my sight.
Although it is bright,
the calming sensation blossoms with the ever changing deciduous trees.
Intricate twists of Mother's.
See that above?
It is God's crystal ball.
He reflects our lives and shows to live happily.
Misfortunes or not, he will never evaporate.
Or it is one giant star.
The true North Star.
The one that wisks our wishes, granting them true.
Guiding the lost in their own neverland.
Perhaps,
it is the sun's baby.
Just as bright,
but not as blinding.
Showing the connection between family.
Unbreakable yet alone-
Simple and sincere.
Side by side,
would make the whole world blind-
unstoppable as one.
Better yet,
it is a frosty snowball.
Thrown by all the children in the world.
Each one contributing to its purity.
The realization of imagination can never be described
or translated to the native tongue.
A gift beyond wrappings and bows,
tape and papercuts.
It unlocks and molds a uniquely powerful individual.
Age is timeless.
Listen to crickets laughing,
dance to the beat of the trees,
converse with the stream,
record your own cassette tape.
