Imagine

Imagine giving up the most realest of dreams.

breaking a heart with the cruelest of means.

Imagine the pain and the anguish it causes,

the tears that are shed just reflect in your pauses.

Now let it consume you and tear up your soul,

you decided this fate now you suffer alone.

Imagine your hand being forced into motion,

chose who you hurt with any emotion.

Imagine how hollow and ashamed you will feel,

when the wounds you inflict ain't the kind that can heal.

Now tell me this hasn't now changed you for ever,

trust bonds destroyed and a wasted endeavor.

Turn back the clock, do it over a-gain,

would you change anything or just live it the same?
