Imagine Venus
Venus on planet earth.
Where 9.8 m/s squared doesn't exist,
neither pain nor heartbreak
fact and fiction are one in the same.
The impossible is daily routine and every
interaction is only a scene.
A scene that only Darryl can direct and
only Darryl can respect.
The respect that a caged bird once didn't have,
until it sang.
And when it sang its voice was distinctive,
the distinctiveness lying in the freedom of its song.
Becasue when something is free nothing matters.
Not Gravity, not the impossible, not even the entity itself;
only the song matters.
I am Free
I am Free to imagine Venus on earth.
