Imagining Vs Doing
I don't believe I deserve
rewards or recognition.
I don't believe I'm good enough.
I don't believe I'm one of
the best or favourite.
I don't believe.
I don't deserve recognition because
I fumble the last move
and I'm at the start again.
I'm not good enough because
comparison always wins.
I can improve. There's always space
to grow.
But how do I improve?
I shouldn't be the
favourite or best.
It doesn't feel earned.
I imagine myself doing better
why can't my body
project that?
Will I ever
live up to my own standard?
Or am I chasing
a person that isn't alive?
