imigrant to my body
For most of my life, I’ve been asked about my seizures, and how they function as if my seizures had a mind of their own. A seizure is more like the white man and you’re the slave it owns. It frightens you, and causes every single bone to hurt and ache leaving you tired making you one with the brown dirt that claims your blood and body, angering you as it steals your freedom, your seizures are like the white man who accuses your immigrant body of taking up space that is wrongfully yours and should belong to someone much more fit and strong. seizures are like the monster you can’t escape. like a nightmares they leave you breathless causing your body to quiver like a dog without its fur. Scared.alone
