Imitations of Reality

Shyly, coyly, we dance
Imitations of reality
Around the question
Around the fire

I sigh, you bite my neck
Secrets are told in whispers
Lies are wrapped in lust
All sins are forgiven

You feed from my breast
Mother's milk and honeysuckle
And the sweet salty tears
Of memories gone

Lust is expelled upon my breath
But only for a moment
And then recollection returns
As all hope fades to black
