Immortality
Immortality would taste good on my lips
But so does you
Would I be giving up the joys of a normal life
Just for a little longer with you
My heart beats for you exclusively
Like the drums we would constantly hear
I wish I could forget you
Wish that your smile didn't burn down every bridge I keep up
I miss you isn't enough
Words can't form to describe you
But I guess I can say
Immortality wouldn't bring you back to me
So I'm content being mortal
