why

do you base your thought and feelings

on a book written hundreds of years ago

by the men who you don't even pray to

why

do you judge others

when

judge not lest ye be judged

why

do you preach the words of hate

when love and acceptance

where the words that were taught

why

do you put words into the mouth of a person

who you have never even met

why

are you cruel to others

just because you think,

that a buidling with a steeple

and a book with a cross,

marks you with a free pass,

to live without love,

and preach hate
