Words, words, all I hear are words But who understands the power of words? They build, they break, they power and shape But people don't see the pain they create The walking, the talking, the cussing and Maiming Do people even know that person their degrading? All they say are words with no purpose behind Have they ever stopped and thought what those words unwind? What if we all stopped- took a moment to pause Rethought what we said and look at what we caused Could we change these words to build instead of break If so we can change our own fate I write to to make a change that some might think is small But even if it is I don't care at all If I reach the world or just help one soul I have achieved my poems goal

I have had a blessed life. When I grew up I was bullied and unpopular. This brought me to a point of depression and I even considered suicide. The Lord stopped me from killing myself and I began writing poetry 3 years ago to help me and save my life. I now write to inspire change and help others that experienced what I did
