The Impact of One

It cannot be expressed with words It cannot be portrayed in pictures The plans I have for my life, How I will construct my future I will serve those around me No matter how little they own, I will show them how much I care And water the seeds I’ve sewn By developing prosthetics I’ll improve lives of many They will run, jump and soar The impact won’t be mini I will love those I’m devoted to And show them the path to Christ I will be the hands of Jesus And demonstrate the light When the sun sets on my journey And my days begin to fade I will look back on my years And see the impact I have made
